Air Canada's first non-stop flight from Vancouver to Dubai took off today
The first non-stop Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Dubai took place on a Saturday morning. Air Canada will operate flights between these two cities regularly, four times a week (on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday).
The duration of this flight is 15 hours. The flight is scheduled to arrive in the United Arab Emirates at 23:05 local time. Since Dubai Airport is the busiest international airport for passengers, it is estimated that the new non-stop route will generate approximately $30 million in local revenue and create 63 full-time jobs. This route will be serviced by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with 298 seats.
