Canadian hospitals were short on nurses in the pandemic — and preventable problems increased
Patients suffered more preventable injuries in Canadian hospitals during the pandemic, according to a new report.
The report, published by the Canadian Institute for Health Information, shows that a significant reduction in the level of health care workers has increased these problems.
