Police make more arrests in one of Ottawa's largest drug busts.
Atawa police have arrested three more people in connection with the seizure of more than 40 loads of cocaine and four countries of Turkish cocaine.
OPS announced the results of "Operation Top Shelf" last week, following a 10-month investigation described as one of the "biggest drug busts in OPS history".
In addition to the large amount of drugs, police also seized $100,000 in cash.
Yesterday, five search warrants were executed in connection with the case in Ottawa, Gatineau and Toronto.
Police seized evidence, Canadian currency and a pellet gun with a data magazine.
The police arrested three more people in connection with drugs and announced charges against them.
Timon Beck, 37, and Ismail Muhammad, 35, of Ottawa, were charged with participating in a criminal organization and conspiracy to traffic in cocaine.
Sara Staniszewski, 34, of Gatineau, participating in a criminal organization, conspiracy to purchase cocaine and invest in weapons, including possession of a ranged weapon.
The three men all appeared in an Ottawa court.
