Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for much of southern Quebec, including the Montreal area.

The Met Office says 15 to 20 centimeters of snow is expected from Sunday evening into Monday.

The following areas are affected by this alert:

      Metro-Montreal-Laval
      The Laurentians
      Vaudreuil - Soulanges - Huntingdon
      Lanodeer
      Eastern cities
      Mauritius
      Drummondville - Bois-Francs
      Lachute - St. Jerome
      Pontiac
      Richelieu Valley - St. Hyacinth
      Upper Gatineau - Liver - Papineau
