The driver of the G2 in Ottawa was charged after going 174 km/h on Highway 416.
A 19-year-old G2 driver is facing charges after being caught speeding on Highway 416 on Friday, Ontario Provincial Police Ottawa said.
Police say the driver was traveling at a speed of 174 kilometers per hour shortly after 8 p.m.
According to police, the driver of the G2 faces many consequences, including a 30-day driver's license suspension, impoundment of the vehicle for 14 days, a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points if convicted.
