A 50-year-old woman died Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in Saint-Michel.
The accident happened just after 17:00. The corner of Jerry St. and Joseph Gibord St.
The pedestrian was sent to hospital in critical condition, but Montreal police spokesman Jean-Pierre Brabant confirmed Wednesday evening that he had died from his injuries.
The driver, a 55-year-old man, was treated for shock and questioned by investigators about the crash.
